'Necromancer TD' is a study into Unity Collab/GitHub
Necromancer TD is a collaboration between myself and a friend in Norway, who also recently graduated from a relevant degree. Since we can't physically work using the same PC, web based version control such as GitHub or Unity Collab are essential in order to keep up to date with changes.
Necromancer TD is designed to be played on Android devices. The player must create a maze of summoned creatures in order to slow down and ultimately destroy the enemies before they reach the top of the tower. The layout of the floors and the types of enemy invasion waves changes with each level.
It is intended to contain a large amount of levels with interesting mechanics involving the 'summons' and 'furniture' both which take up space on each floor, but only the summons damage enemies whereas the furniture has other effects. This forces the player to manage their limited space in strategic ways in order to maximise efficiency whilst also creating a maze-like layout in order to maximise the time the enemies spend navigating the floors.
